Theo Klingenberg

I lead creative direction across campaigns, brand identity, and digital experiences — most recently as Senior Art Director at GetYourGuide, where I guided brand identity from concept through production, directed photo and video, and worked across marketing, product, and design teams to keep every touchpoint feeling intentional rather than assembled.

That eye for detail traces back to where I started: as a fashion photographer in Milan, shooting editorials for Vogue Italia and other titles. Composition, timing, a point of view carried through to the end — those instincts are part of why I move as comfortably in a strategy meeting as I do on set, and why I still get hands-on with the work rather than direct from a distance.

What I'm drawn to is work that doesn't feel interchangeable — visual storytelling that's specific to the brand and the audience it's for, not a template stretched to fit. I bring that same standard whether I'm shaping a full identity system or refining one campaign detail, using AI tools where they genuinely sharpen the process, never as a shortcut around thinking.

Currently exploring the next challenge — open to projects and roles that need craft, strategy, and someone who cares about the details most people skip. Based in Berlin, open to relocation.
